Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you ("you", "your", the "user") and ToolsGravity ("we", "us", "our") governing your access to and use of the website attoolsgravity.com, our online tools, and any paid Pro features (collectively, the "Service").

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

We wrote these Terms to be readable. If anything is unclear, email us at hello@toolsgravity.com and we'll be happy to explain.

ToolsGravity provides a suite of free online tools across four categories:

• Image Tools — compression, resizing, background removal, format conversion, and similar utilities
• PDF Tools — merge, split, compress, edit, sign, and convert PDFs
• Text Tools — paraphrasing, grammar checking, summarization, and other writing utilities
• Developer Tools — encoding, decoding, hashing, regex testing, and similar utilities

Tools fall into three groups, and each tool page states which applies. Some run entirely client-side in your browser and upload nothing. Most upload your file over an encrypted connection to our own processing servers, which delete it immediately after the operation. A subset (marked with an "AI" badge) uses third-party AI inference APIs.

We may add, modify, or remove tools at any time. We will provide reasonable notice for removals that affect Pro users.

By using the Service, you represent that:

• You are at least 13 years old (or 16 in the EEA, or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction).
• You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
• You are not located in a country subject to a U.S. government embargo, or designated as a "terrorist-supporting" country.
• You are not on any U.S. government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

You do not need an account to use the free tools. We require an account only for Pro subscriptions, where billing and entitlement tracking necessitates it.

If you create an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and update your information as it changes
• Keep your password secure and confidential
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account at security@toolsgravity.com
• Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, provide false information, or are used for prohibited purposes.

You may use the Service to:

• Process your own files and content for any lawful personal or commercial purpose
• Use AI-powered features within your subscription quota
• Embed our tools in your own workflows, automation, or non-commercial scripts
• Share links to the Service or specific tools freely

You may NOT use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right
• Process content you do not own or have permission to process (including copyrighted material, trade secrets, or personal data of others without consent)
• Generate or process child sexual abuse material (CSAM), non-consensual intimate imagery, or content depicting real persons without their consent
• Create deepfakes, impersonations, or other deceptive content intended to harm, defraud, or deceive others
• Generate spam, malware, phishing pages, or other malicious content
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract proprietary algorithms from our Service (except as permitted by applicable law)
• Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our infrastructure without prior written authorization (responsible disclosure is welcome — see our security policy)
• Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to circumvent rate limits or extract data at scale
• Resell or sublicense the Service or any portion of it as a standalone product, except as expressly permitted (e.g. API integrations under a separate agreement)
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service's integrity, security, or availability

Violations may result in immediate suspension or termination, forfeiture of any paid balance, and where applicable, legal action.

Subscription terms

• Pro plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis
• Subscriptions automatically renew until cancelled
• You may cancel at any time from your account dashboard — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods, except where required by law

Pricing changes

We may adjust pricing for future billing periods. We will give you at least 30 days' notice before any price increase takes effect. If you do not agree to the new pricing, you may cancel before it takes effect.

Free trials

If we offer a free trial, you must cancel before the trial ends to avoid being charged. By starting a trial, you authorize us to charge your payment method at the end of the trial unless you have cancelled.

Taxes

Listed prices may not include applicable VAT, GST, or sales tax. You are responsible for any taxes that apply to your subscription.

AI-powered tools (marked with an "AI" badge) use third-party AI services for inference. Additional terms apply to these tools:

• Quotas: Free users have daily limits; Pro users have higher limits documented on the Pricing page.
• Accuracy: AI outputs may contain errors, biases, or hallucinations. You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated content before relying on it.
• Ownership: You own the outputs of AI tools you generate, subject to the underlying provider's terms. We claim no ownership of your inputs or outputs.
• Prohibited inputs: Do not submit confidential, classified, or highly sensitive data to AI features. Do not submit content that violates the AI provider's terms.

You retain all rights to files, text, images, and other content you upload to or process with the Service ("Your Content").

For browser-based tools, we never receive a copy of Your Content. For AI-powered tools, your input is transmitted to the AI provider for processing but is not retained by us — see our Privacy Policy.

You grant us a limited license to process Your Content solely as necessary to provide the requested service. This license terminates automatically when the processing is complete.

The Service, including the website, code, design, logos, trademarks, and underlying technology, is owned by ToolsGravity or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Service for its intended purpose, subject to these Terms.

The "ToolsGravity" name and logo are trademarks of ToolsGravity. You may not use them without our prior written permission, except to refer to the Service itself.

We welcome attribution. If you write about us, please link to https://toolsgravity.com.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including:

• Implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement
• Warranties that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or virus-free
• Warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any tool output, including AI-generated content
• Warranties that any defects will be corrected

You use the Service at your own risk. Always keep backups of important files before processing them with any tool. We are not liable for data loss.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ToolsGravity and its officers, employees, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

This includes (but is not limited to) damages for:

• Loss of profits, revenue, data, or use
• Business interruption or loss of goodwill
• Costs of substitute goods or services
• Personal injury or property damage

Our total cumulative liability arising out of or related to the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) USD $100.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or other claims that cannot be limited by law.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ToolsGravity from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use or misuse of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party right, including intellectual property or privacy rights
• Content you submitted to the Service

We reserve the right, at our own expense, to assume exclusive defence and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by you.

You may stop using the Service at any time. Pro subscribers can cancel from their account dashboard at any time.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in prohibited use, or pose a risk to other users or the Service.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, and governing law) will survive.

Changes to the Service

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We are not liable to you or any third party for such modifications.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. For material changes, we will:

• Update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page
• Post a banner on the Service for at least 30 days before changes take effect
• Email Pro users at least 30 days in advance

Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where ToolsGravityis operated, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Informal resolution

We're a small team and we'd rather talk than litigate. If you have a dispute, please email hello@toolsgravity.com first. We'll respond within 30 days and work in good faith to resolve the issue.

Binding arbitration

If we cannot resolve the dispute informally within 60 days, you and we agree to resolve any claim through binding individual arbitration, except for: (a) intellectual-property claims, (b) small-claims-court matters, and (c) injunctive relief.

Class-action waiver

You agree to resolve disputes only on an individual basis. Class actions, collective actions, and representative proceedings are not permitted, to the maximum extent allowed by law.

Statutory rights

If you are a consumer in the EEA, UK, or similar jurisdiction, nothing in these Terms affects your mandatory statutory consumer rights.

Entire agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and ToolsGravity regarding the Service.

Severability

If any provision is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.

No waiver

Our failure to enforce any right under these Terms is not a waiver of that right.

Assignment

You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms. We may assign our rights, for example in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

No third-party beneficiaries

These Terms do not create rights in any third party.
